Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre

Beth Tephillah Ministry Centre  is a healing and training ministry of Williamstown Baptist Church, under the direction of Pastors Malcolm and Diana Dow.

Since 1996 volunteer staff from many different churches and denominations have provided healing ministry and prayer counselling under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, supported by a group of trained intercessors in another room.

The Beth Tephillah prayer ministers and intercessors have been trained by many organisations, including Wholeness through Christ (Australia), Ellel MinistriesElijah House Ministries Australia, Beth Tephillah Ministries, Roaring Mouse Counselling, RestorationAnazao Counselling, and Sonrise Family Ministries.

Malcolm and Diana’s own training includes all of these ministry organisations and they have taught with some of them before beginning their own training ministries. They have been involved in Prayer Counselling since 1990.

Beth Tephillah Ministries is a member of the Healing Prayer Ministries Network, a support network for ministries and individuals carrying out healing prayer ministry and prayer counselling in Australia.

Beth Tephillah Ministries, in conjunction with Roaring Mouse Counselling, has arranged seminars with people such as Dr Charles Kraft, a Professor at Fuller Seminary in California and author of many popular and respected books on missiology, deep inner healing and deliverance,  and Peter and Heather Toth of Anazao Counselling in Queensland. Chuck Kraft’s books include Deep Wounds Deep Healing, Defeating Dark AngelsI Give You Authority, Christianity with Power, Confronting Powerless Christianity, The Rules of EngagementBehind Enemy Lines, and his latest book: Two Hours to Freedom. He also contributed to Frank DeCenso’s book Amazed by the Power of God. Peter is the author of The Forgotten Factor in Healing, outlining a revolutionary and effective new method of dealing with dissociation, and Underestimating Satan.  Both of these ministries have contributed much to the training of our staff, and frequently refer clients to us for counselling.

Beth Tephillah Ministries also runs its own training seminars and courses for those who wish to be equipped for prayer ministry or for more effective discipleship. In the past courses run have included:
